ABOUT OUR ORGANIZING MAKEOVER CONTEST & "ASK THE ORGANIZER" SEMINAR:

WMCPO is striving to raise awareness about the benefits of getting organized and what the many non-profit organizations and agencies in Westmoreland County have to offer the community.  So. . . enter our contest, and in the meantime gather up a bag of your unused items and bring them to our seminar as donations so they can be used by someone else!

2007 Contest Rules

All entrants must be:
A. Westmoreland County residents
B. Willing to be an active participant in the makeover session(s)
C. Willing to have before and after photos taken of cluttered space for advertising purposes

To enter, submit:
1. Contact information: Your name, address, phone number, and (if applicable) email address
2. Pictures of your most cluttered space        
3. A story (in 200 words or less) that describes how decluttering your space would make a difference in your life!

Winner will receive 12 FREE HOURS of organizing services from Westmoreland County Professional Organizers !!

"ASK THE ORGANIZER" SEMINAR DETAILS:

When:  Saturday, February 3, 2007
            10:00 a.m. - noon

Where: Penn Trafford Area Recreation Commission's
             PTARC/ Shelley Proskin Recreation Center
             Rt 130 & Murrysville Road, Level Green, PA

What: Learn basic organizing tips and get answers to your clutter challenges!

Cost: $10.00 
            OR 
          $5.00 IF you bring items you no longer need/use as donations to support the following non-profit organizations:      

             YWCA Thrift Store
               * Clothing (gently used business attire for Working Womens Closet)

             YWCA Literacy Programs 
                   * Books (but please, no encyclopedias or textbooks)

             Westmoreland County's "No Kill" Animal Shelters
               * Blankets, towels 

               *  Non skid rugs all size 

               * Canned dog and/or cat food
               * Dog leashes
               * Kitty litter (non-clumping)

             Westmoreland County Food Bank
               * Non-perishable food/canned goods
